How do I add an article to the shopping cart?
You can add an article to your shopping cart by selecting your preferred size on the product page, enter the number of items you want, and then click ‘Add to shopping cart’.
In our webshop, items can also be added to your wish list, or be added to your shopping cart without proceeding to the ordering process. In this case, these items are not reserved for you. When an item is sold out, the word ‘out of stock’ is shown next to the item. Do you want to be sure you have made a purchase? It goes without saying we recommend ordering the item directly ;-)
How do I place an order?
Ordering at ten Cate is very easy. Within a few steps, you can decide for yourself what you want to order, how you want to pay for it, and where the parcel has to be delivered.
The ten Cate ordering process in 10 steps:
Step 1: Browse our webshop and add the item you want to the shopping cart.
Step 2: When you have added all items you want, you can view all items selected in the shopping cart.
Step 3: Satisfied with the items selected? Click ‘Proceed to checkout’. Do you want to add more items to your shopping cart? Click ‘Continue shopping’.
Step 4: Log in (if you have not already done so), create an account, or proceed without an account.
Step 5: Enter your personal details, as well as the details of the delivery address. Do you want the parcel to be delivered at an alternative address? No problem, that can be done! Enter the alternative address in ‘Delivery details’.
Step 6: The delivery method is entered automatically. If the total amount of the order is €20 or less, we charge €4.95 for delivery. In case the total amount exceeds €20, delivery is free. All our parcels are sent and delivered by PostNL.
Step 7: Select the payment method you want to use: iDeal, AfterPay, or Bancontact/ Mister Cash (Belgium only). If you select AfterPay, your date of birth has to be added to the ordering details and you have to accept AfterPay’s General Terms and Conditions.
Step 8: Check your details. Did you enter everything correctly? Click ‘Checkout’. Forgot something? Click ‘Back to your shopping cart’.
Step 9: As soon as you have paid, a shipping confirmation is sent. It contains all information about your order.
Step 10: When your parcel has left our warehouse, you will be sent a Track & Trace code you can use to follow your parcel through the PostNL website. Please note: it may take a few hours for the code to be activated and ready to be used to trace your parcel.
What should I do if I have not received an order confirmation?
If you have not received an order confirmation, it may have ended up in your email spam filter. Please check your spam filter settings and adjust them if necessary. If you cannot do so or you cannot find the confirmation email in your spam filter, feel free to contact our consumer care department. We will then make sure you will be sent the order confirmation.
How can I cancel my order?
Under ‘Orders’ on your personal ten Cate account page, you can immediately see if it is possible to cancel your order. You will find a cancellation button behind the item ordered then. If the order is already on its way to be delivered to you, or if it is being prepared for shipping, it cannot be cancelled anymore.
If you have not been able to cancel the order in time, you can immediately hand it back to the delivery man when it is delivered.
How do I find the item I am looking for?
There are various ways to find the product you are looking for within the ten Cate webshop. Use the search box in the top menu bar to directly enter your search query. Enter the keyword you are looking for and the results will be shown. You can use the search box to look for, e.g. ‘hipsters’, ‘shorts’ or ‘pyjama’, but you can also use it to enter article numbers or a specific product name.
Another way to find something is by browsing the various categories. First select the category of your choice in the menu bar at the top of the webshop screen. You can choose, for instance, between ‘women’, ‘men’, or ‘kids’. The category ‘women’ is subdivided into other categories, such as the product group ‘underwear’, or the collection name ‘Basic’. In the subcategory ‘underwear’ you can then choose between, for instance, ‘briefs’ or ‘bras’. Use the menu on the left of the screen to refine search results by filtering by size, colour, and other specific requirements.
How can I see if my size is still in stock?
If your size is still in stock, it will appear in the size box when you select it on the product page. If the size selected is no longer in stock, the text ‘out of stock’ will appear next to the size. If you have questions about in-stock items, please contact the consumer care department. How can I have my order delivered to an alternative address?
You can have an order delivered on an address other than the invoice address. Enter the alternative address during the ordering process. Your address can be changed at all times under ‘account details’. To do so, you have to log into your personal ten Cate account.
How do I use a discount code during the ordering process?
During the checkout process you can enter the discount code on the bottom left of the shopping cart. Please note that this is case-sensitive.
What are the conditions for using a discount code?
A discount code can only be used under the following conditions:
- Only one discount code per order.
- Our discount codes are often linked to a specific product category or promotion.
- The discount code can only be used for a limited period of time.
- The discount code can be linked to a minimum and/or maximum order value.
- If you return items, the minimum ordering amount must still be met for the discount code to be valid for your order.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to cash a discount code after you have placed an order. It goes without saying that the discount code can still be used for your next order.
Are webshop product prices inclusive of VAT?
All product prices displayed in our webshop are inclusive of VAT.
